Celebrity hair loss?

how come so many male celebrities never lose their hair?besides a few celebrities who wear toupees, most of them all have natural, thick hair.can someone explain to me why.do they all get transplants or something??

Celebrity hair loss?

They lose their hair, and they probably do have some kind of toupee or hair transplant. Two examples that I know of (because they openly admit it): David Letterman (Toupee), and Richard Simmons (hair transplant).

Sometimes they just shave their head completely or near-completely bald (Bruce Willis, Paul Sheaffer, Andre Agassi).

Celebrity hair loss?

A lot of people don't loose their hair - no one in my family ever has done.

And some have hair transplants I suppose!

Celebrity hair loss?

they have money and money can get you anything your heart desires!

Celebrity hair loss?

they are rich enough to buy the BEST hair products possible! xx

Celebrity hair loss?

most of them go to professional salons every week to get thier hair done. they have to keep thier hair healthy because of all the magazines and things that want thier pics.

Celebrity hair loss?

Hello John,

Yes I can explain this. They use a Shampoo and Conditioner Called Nioxin. At signs of hair loss its clinically prov-en to make the pH balance on your head the perfect place to grow hair. This only helps for people that are losing it because of stress or the beginning stages of baldness. Although once male pattern baldness occurs because of hereditary reasons celebrity's will drop at the least for good ones a few thousand dollars for hair plugs which are surgically embedded in the scalp where your normal hair would grow.Hope that helps you

Celebrity hair loss?

the majority of them have hair and nice clothes and no wrinkles and perfect teeth and are not fat.... the list goes on and on. if you want people to have posters of you and buy your stuff then you have to fit the idealized, media-created image of beauty, which they have the loot to do. are you having your mid-life crisis or something?

Celebrity hair loss?

I think it is just that they get better toupees than average people do.

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

I want to improve my overall appearance, there's a few girls I like that are really hot, one works at Abercrombie.

I'm thinking of getting a better jawline (more defined), curved eyes, hair transplants, possible face lift and skin renewal, and possibly a height-lengthening procedure (I'm only 5'10"). After that, I'll go tanning for a few weeks, and then I'll be ready lol.

How much do you think a procedure like this would cost? (I'm 19 years old BTW, I've heard its better to get a hair transplant early and since I'm starting to bald slighty, why not...) And do you think it's necessary?

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

If your to scared to approach NOW and find out if the women likes or even would talk to you , what will really change with you spending all the time and money (and feeling all that PAIN) at the ripe old age of 19.

Just be yourself... iif they do not dig the dude that is you ....oh well.

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

If you have that kind of money why not just, buy off the girl instead.. for 1/2 a million you should be able to get her!

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

Slow down, you are only 19 and still will grow into your more mature looks. Give it a few years and you will be happy with your appearance. Its not worth the time, money and possible risk to your life to undergo such radical surgery.

To answer your question, you will have to spend several tens of thousands of dollars.

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

You can estimate $3-$5K per surgery including anesthesia.

If you watch discovery health channel- they have MANY stories that include the prices as well as board certified surgeons who will give you a FREE consulation.

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

God made you look the way you do for a reason, we are all beautiful on the inside! Also, I would not suggest tanning. If you go to a tanning booth just once, you can still get skin cancer. Plus, you will feel very fake and not yourself. In my opinion, not necessary at all!

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

You are way too young!

You have so much life ahead of you. In years to come you will have scar tissue and things that can't be fixed.

Work on the inside of your heart and soul and spirit first.....only then will your true handsome self can be ...and when you accept yourself....you won't need plastic surgery. Because you will be less extrenal. The external person fades quickly. In a blink of an eye you will be 60 years old.

I would suggest you get some counseling and work on who you are and not who you want to create

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

I think you are not being very realistic....a facelift at 19, height surgery?

I think you need to research any procedures you are seriously interested in very carefully and realise that plastic surgery isn't suddenly going to make you look hot unless you already have great facial proportions that just need a little tweaking.

I don't know what you mean by curved eyes and hair transplants can be risky. Height surgery is only for people that have stunted growth and is rarely performed. It involves spending 6 months being totally incapacitated.

Also you want skin renewal treatments and then want to go tanning. Well that is pretty pointless. Why fix your skin and then wreck it.

Please visit the mesasge boards at the site below for more information. But I think you need to start being realistic, plastic surgery is not a cure for low self esteem and it certainly can't turn you from Mr average into a supermodel. Sorry if all this sounds harsh, but your expectations of what cosmetic surgery can achieve are way too high and you will end up very disappointed if you carry on like this. Good luck.

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

Looks like you are ready to swipe that credit card a few

times! For savings on your cosmetic work that most insurances

don't cover, check with eHealthPlus. They work with cosmetic

surgeons and will reduce the price substantially if you become

a member.

I'm considering getting plastic surgery..?

Plastic surgery is very safe nowadays. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Hope this helps.

Why is my hair thinning and what can i do to stop it besides rogaine and transplants?

I entered the military at age 19 with super thick hair. Then of course they shave it all off for bmt. It hasn't been the same since and I am increasingly concerned about it. I've also had a few cysts removed from my scalp and noticed that one of those spots is very thin. any ideas on why this would happen?

Why is my hair thinning and what can i do to stop it besides rogaine and transplants?

It is thinning because of your headgear.

Constant friction.

Once you get out of the military it will be fine in no time.

My father's hair went thin too due to headgear.

We all have thick hair:not him.

Sky

Why is my hair thinning and what can i do to stop it besides rogaine and transplants?

actually, the exact cause for natural hair loss is still unknown. Most research shows that it is often hereditary. There are still natural things you can do to try to regrow hair. Some people use massage, certain oils, supplements, etc. Visit the site below for more info. on hair loss.

Why is my hair thinning and what can i do to stop it besides rogaine and transplants?

Are you still living in the same place as before joining the army? probable not. The water can be a killer for hair wash. I use a filter that is easily installed before the shower head and filters the water. Sunshine, shampoo, what you eat, poisons, STRESS, etc all have effect on your hair

Why is my hair thinning and what can i do to stop it besides rogaine and transplants?

Wearing hats will damage your hair follicles. Quit wearing hats when you don't need to!

Guys still look good when they are losing or have lost their hair. It's only when they try to deny it with constant hats or hair that is too long that they look unattractive. Cut your hair short. I doubt you want to look like George Costanza on Seinfeld. Look how guys like Bruce Willis have done it. You can lose your hair and still look good. Don't worry about it too much. Confidence looks good on anyone.

Your cysts that you mentioned...are they precancerous? You should be putting sunscreen on your noggin!

Why is my hair thinning and what can i do to stop it besides rogaine and transplants?

Hi There,

Sorry to hear about your hair loss. I understand that you'd like stay clear of Rogaine and surgical hair restoration. Basically, that leaves you with to one option that's clinically proven to effectively stop hair loss and regrow lost hair, Propecia. All-in-all, Propecia, Rogaine and Hair Surgery are the only efficient ways to regrow lost hair. There's also a new device called the laser comb, but it hasn't shown any big results in tests.

I had a hair restoration procedure done back in July and am very happy with the results. Since receiving the procedure I have kept a blog called BattleAgainstBald.com. The blog details the results of my Bosley hair transplantation and I also provide a wealth of information on hair loss and the other methods used to correct it. Which I think is what will help you out a lot.

I encourage you to check out BattleAgainstBald.com, as I'm sure the information there can answer a lot, if not all of your questions.

Best of luck to you in your battle against bald...

-Seth

I heard zinc helps.

I heard hats are not so good for keeping hair.

I use a shampoo that cancels the DHT

probably with a good multi and a good diet is good for all the body systems

How can i diminish the lok of a big forehead????

How can i diminish the lok of a big forehead????

How can i diminish the lok of a big forehead????

nice thick full bangs down in front, not side swept

How can i diminish the lok of a big forehead????

Try some bangs in front or try some longer bangs to the side. It should reduce the appearance of a long forehead.

Or you could try some jagged bangs.

Hair extensions for male pattern baldness?

I'm in the early stages of male pattern baldness ... too early for a transplant and I'm at too high of a risk for side-effects to be on medication. My question is, are hair extensions an option? Is it possible to attach extensions with some type of glue or sew them into areas where there is no hair? All I really want is longer hair in the front, so what cost can I expect to pay?

Hair extensions for male pattern baldness?

Hair extensions make your existing hair appear longer and are not used to fill in thin areas.

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

as a guy, I just don't get it. I heard some idiot once got hairs from his head transplanted to his chest and face. WHY??? I honestly don't understand how a girl could go for that? It's the grosest thing ever! Is it just me? Why would any guy want to look like an old hairy dude?

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

This question is F*$#ed up! You can't help if you have body hair or not. I mean, if you groom yourself it's all good. Some people are hairy some not. My girlfriend happens to like my chest hair and my beard. I trim regularly, EVERYWHERE!! It's nothin to freak out about. Different strokes for different folks! By the way, I hope you turn out to be a HAIRY FREAK just for asking such a stupid question!!

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

right on bro out with facial hair it itches

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

Having problems with puberty are you

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

I dont like hairy chests, face, armpits, back [gag], and yeah.

But like legs and stuff yeah whatever.

Hair is kinda gross to me. [other than on head and other usualy spots]

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

some girls find it "sexy" and "manly" to have facial hair. i like it.

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

Uhhh, i think its just you!

i think facial hair is awesome..

Although it does itch a bit

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

Well, it's true the seventies are over, but it is natural for a man to have chest hair, being that it is natural it is a positive indication of good health (which is attractive).

But, I don't think you are really concerned about what a girl would go for, are you?

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

i dont find it attractive. kindly repulsive. a little scruff sometimes on the face is cute, but not overdone

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

ok the transplant think is kinda dumb... but its their own opinion. whether they like it or not. For me, chest hair=no. But i can never shave of armpits its so gay and feminin... facial hair, a must have!... just make sure its sexy and cute!

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

Some people attracted to men actually like facial and body hair! It is a matter of what you are attracted to.

Whatever gave other guys the idea that body/facial hair was a GOOD thing?

i agree with you, I always thought a bald body was the sexiest, but then i met my husband. If you stripped him down and put him the the woods they'd catch him and say he was a yetty. sometimes you have to learn to love the hair, or get him used to waxing it off.

transplanted chest hair???

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

I use to have thick hair. I had diabetes for 15 years until I had a pancreas transplant. I no longer have diabetes but I think I lost a lot of my hair due to all the medication I've taken. Does anyone know of a treatment that would restore my hair?

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

I totally had the same problem! My friend recommended to use Sunsilk Hydra TLC, and Sunsilk body and bounce. A good trimming and changing into layers will also thicken and add more body to your hair. After a while,my dull limp hair turned into stronger, fuller hair with body and bounce!

Try it out, it really worked for me!

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

You can try Nioxinil (not positive of spelling). You can get it at some beauty supply places.

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

Go to a hair salon and ask someone there whats a good product that can strengthen my hair. They always have something that you can use to strengthen your hair. I have a product called Teatree and its in a green bottle, it strengthens your hair veryy well.

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

Viviscal tablets really help u can start seeing results after 2 months but u have to continue the treatement for 6 months if u want complete recovery

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

They have vitamins for hair to do that...try Wal-mart or Walgreen's our your local drug store they should carry those vitamins...or talk to your doctor about it I'm sure he can recommend something for that..

I have fine hair. Is there a way I can strengthen it?

When I was in beauty school for ever ago. We had this kid in who went through chemo. They said he probably would never grow his hair back. We did conditioner treatments on his head and massaged his head 2-3 times a week about 30 minutes each time. We did this for about 6 months straight and then he had thicker hair though it was just growing out. I would recommend you massage your head either by brushing it alot ensuring you are brushing your scalp evenly or just massage your head evenlly all over for along period of time. This stimulates your blood flow in your head and makes your papilla and folicles more active.
