Is it something that will be noticable to others - I mean what they do during surgery - will others see shaved spots on your head for several days after the surgery? Would a person have to stay away from others for a while?

In hair transplant surgeries, do they shave your head?
Hi There,
No, they don't shave your head, just a small strip on the back of your head where they cut the donor follicles from. It's called the donor area. After they make the cut they stitch it up so it's barely noticeable, especially if you keep your hair and inch or two long in the back.
Immediately after the surgery your head will be a little damaged though. It's best to wear a hat for a week or two. You'll have some scabbing and sutff where they impalnt the hair.
I had a Bosley procedure done back in July and couldn't be happier with the results. Since receiving the procedure I have kept a blog called BattleAgainstBald.com. The blog details the results of my Bosley hair transplantation and I also provide a wealth of information on hair loss and the other methods used to correct it. I'm sure the blog will answer any questions you have.
Best,
Seth
