Hair Thinning?

I have had this problem for many years and can't seem to find a solution for it. My hair has been thining really quicky and need help. I have recently gone to take pictures with my husban and never even noticed at how bald my head was getting. I saw the proofs and I almost cried to see that my hair was almost gone. I have curly hair. I cannot afford the hair transplants that they offer on TV. I have tried Rogaine for women but the only thing that it does is thicken out your hair it doesn't really help with the regrowth. Does anyone know of any thing that I can try at home my self.

Hair Thinning?

I really don't have an answer. maybe you could seek a specialist or contact your nearest hair salon. it is probably cheaper than the hair transplants on tv.

Hair Thinning?

My mom uses a shampoo called 'Nioxin?'...it's kind of pricey, but she said it helped her.

Hair Thinning?

I have heard good things about Nioxin and Follicure, both spendy. I know these are great preventative products and are good for thickening, but I'm not sure about the regrowth, but it is worth a try. Try Nioxin's supplement or better yet by some generic Biotene. I have also heard that if you start Rogaine and stop it, the problem may worsen, but that could just be urban legend. I would also consult a doctor who could refer you to the necessary specialist ASAP. You don't want to lose any more hair I am sure. I am sorry that this is happening to you, but I bet it will get better. Maybe your body is reacting to something traumatic that happened sometime ago, and it just needs to get back to its homeostasis. You never know. Good luck with whatever you decided to do.
