Hair Transplants- Replacing thin hairs?

My hair thinned out. I have a ridiculous amount of thick hairs on my back and sides. Could I replace the thin hairs on my scalp with the thick ones?

Hair Transplants- Replacing thin hairs?

Hair transplantation today is quite advanced. And exactly what you have suggested is highly used. That is, the taking of hair already on your head and moving some of it to another location. This is a very accepted form of hair transplantation. Though female, I have thinning hair and kind of dug around getting info on this for myself! I have "male pattern baldness" as it is called and found out about the technique of using your own hair to make areas on your head flourish more with hair. Good luck. ps you can get free consultations at hair places that do work in this area.

Hmm, It can be done, I'm sure.

Heres a suggestion.

When I lost a lot of hair postbaby, I tried this oil for hairgrowth. I was only looking for stronger hair and hopefully cut out hair loss-but this one actually got new hairs coming up in the receding lines- ok maybe its because the loss wasnt that long ago? But it sure helped, this was about 3 weeks using it-

Maybe worth lookng into before replacemnt- an oil used by geisha etc

  1. Male pattern baldness is more prevalent than female. So hair transplant is more popular among male. one can check some hair transplant surgery pictures available online, how men are crazy for hair transplants.
