Nearly 19 and hair thinning out?

I was always promised I would never go bald by my parents. It's about time they're starting to see that parents don't always know it all. My grandfather was bald, and so was his father. So I'm guessing it's hereditary, but praying that there's hope other than a hair transplant. I could probably deal with it at 30 or 40, but not now. At this point it's all I think about from the time I wake up, to the time I go to bed.

Some things I should mention. I don't have the basic 3 meals of the day, I eat when I'm hungry. If that means I can go all day without anything in my stomach, then that's the case. And I eat whatever I can find whether it's junk food, a sandwhich, frozen stuff ect. Anything that keeps my stomach from hurting. I also drink nothing but pop, and a liter of water give or take usually every. All this while not exercising at all and sitting infront of my computer all day because that's what pays the bills.

I'm hoping it can be cured by taking iron/protein pills.

Sounds like a Dr's visit wouldn't hurt - just a regular physical. Hair loss can be something serious or nothing.

Probably nothing.

However consider changing your diet. If your body isn't getting the nutrients it needs it will take it where it can get it. Like your hair.

Additionally consider this - if you have a great bod - your hair or lack there of won't matter. Don't bother with lotions and potions - go for a personal trainer. They can add years to your life and improve your looks more than hair.
